Troubleshooting

For optimal performance, we recommend using the pump only with our 5 L syrup canisters. If the pump does not dispense properly, check the following:

Has the pump been used with products containing small pieces or seeds?
For example, berry topping sauces may leave seeds inside the pump, which can interfere with the vacuum. If this happens, rinse the pump thoroughly with water.

Has the pump been cleaned regularly?
If not, product residues may have dried inside the pump. Follow the cleaning routine and test again.

Is the dip tube correctly installed?
The slightly softer tube attached to the bottom of the pump is the dip tube. Make sure it is securely fitted to the pump. If the dip tube is not correctly attached, the pump may become too long and press against the bottom of the container or bend. This can prevent the syrup from flowing properly into the tube.
